I am pleased to offer two new products:
Acrylic-Glass Sealed, Ready to Hang
The images are printed on latest large format printers with color management on traditional photographic paper and then chemically developed. The photo is mounted on a carrier plate made of aluminum and then glued with a thin layer of silicone, acrylic glass and thus sealed. With this form of sealing the photo is protected from UV radiation and other weather influences.
Aluminum bars are mounted on the back so that the print floats 20mm off of the wall, appearing like a glass framed ... Continue reading →

This winter I completed a little project I had in mind for a few years now. To create abstract forest photo renditions of all four seasons which look a little bit like paintings.
During this winter season I found a nice winter forest scene and created the last of the four images. I am pretty satisfied with the results so far.
To capture photos like this in camera you have to move the camera manually during a long exposure. It will take several attempts to familiarize with this technique and get the results yo ... Continue reading →

This is my favorite forest scene in Harz National Park, Germany. I created this image on a hiking day with my dad in 2010. Here you see the lower Bodefalls near Braunlage on a late summer day. By the way, the famous german writers and poets Heinrich Heine and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once enjoyed and appreciated this hike and the scenes along the way for themselves.

Recently I uploaded some images to the new Zone-of-Alienation Gallery.
Since I am particularly interested in this topic all images are inspired by lots of TV documentations and PC Games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Metro etc. However these images are not taken somewhere near Pripyat or the Reactor 4 but in an old abandoned industrial park in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. In know this area and the buildings quite well because I've spent years there going to school and finally made my high-school diploma nearby. My grandfather and mother even actually worked in these buildings during former GDR times ... Continue reading →

I finished this years autumn season with some good photos and feelings and had a good time outdoors. My girlfriend and I made about six photo trips to Harz, Saxon Switzerland and other parks and until now I have processed about twenty images.
On three of those tours we were on the same locations like several years before but I had to learn that I cant find any new and good working compositions there. So next year I will spend more time scouting new locations.
See the autumn season 2012 gallery here.
I am also looking forward to the winter season and hope to create a few ... Continue reading →
