The magical and peaceful quiet Lago Federa at 2041m with golden larch trees and their foliage at its peak, illuminated by direct sun light in mid October. This particular day we were lucky with our hike and the weather. A perfect autumn day with deeply blue skies, white clouds, moderate temperatures and an awesome clear air in the mountains of the Dolomites, Italy. In the background you see the summit of Punta Sorapis (3205m).
